Trump HHS Aide Michael Caputo Launches Unhinged Attack on CDC and Warns of Insurrection

Umm, there is a problem with Michael Caputo.

Caputo is the newly installed spokesman for HHS – said to be there because he’s sufficiently loyal to Trump – who was recently caught changing critical scientific reports from the CDC to be more cohesive with Trump’s message. He is also the guy who, according to some reports, represented a Russian state-owned energy company as a public relations specialist and thus has been the subject of rumors that he’s still engaged in spying for Russia. If nothing else, it’s just another Trump guy who has ties of some kind to Russia. Oh, and he’s also a Roger Stone buddy.

So Caputo had some problems and issues even before he went on an insane Facebook rant over the weekend, one that he’s already deleted. According to the New York Daily News, Caputo told his followers on Facebook – without any evidence whatsoever – that “deep in the bowels” of the CDC scientists are developing a “resistance unit” that opposes Trump and is “sabotaging” the administration’s response to COVID.

Caputo said: “There are scientists who work for this government who do not want America to get well, not until after Joe Biden is president.”

“You understand that they’re going to have to kill me, and unfortunately, I think that’s where this is going,”

Ummm. What’s “this” and where is it headed? Killing him? That sounds rather crazy. But that’s not even the worst of it. Caputo admitted that his mental health isn’t good, which is truly a good sign for anyone who goes on to say:

“I don’t like being alone in Washington,” he said. “Shadows on the ceiling in my apartment, there alone, shadows are so long.”

We don’t mock people with mental illness, ever. This isn’t a “ha ha” moment. This is deeply concerning and the man absolutely needs to get some help. After all, this is also a man who’s warned of armed insurrection if Trump wins and advised people to buy guns and ammunition.

When Donald Trump refuses to stand down at the inauguration, the shooting will begin,” he said. “The drills that you’ve seen are nothing … If you carry guns, buy ammunition, ladies and gentlemen, because it’s going to be hard to get.

He needs to resign and get help, for him, and for all of us.

Peace, y’all
