Watch Sarah Huckabee Sanders Get Annihilated by Australian News Anchor for Supporting Trump’s Lies

Of late we have covered a few stories produced by our friends in Australia covering American news and we have to say, the Aussies damn well don’t play around when it comes to political interviews. Maybe they’re removed enough from American politics that they need not fear infuriating half their audience and thus half their advertisers.

Or maybe they’re just that badass.

According to Mediaite, anchor Leigh Sales refreshingly asked Sarah Huck if the president can โ€œtell the difference between the truth and a lie.โ€

Breathe that in!

Sarah, of course, being Sarah, didn’t answer the question preferring instead to complain, like a good little Trumper. She said that the media attacked Trump with โ€œfalse claims and โ€œnegative attack after negative attackโ€ almost every day.

No, the media doesn’t attack with false claims. But given Trump’s record, they have very little choice but to do “negative attack” after “negative attack” because Trump keeps doing “negative things.” Like lying constantly. So when they ask him about it, it sounds negative.

Here is where it got good:

Sales brought upย the exchangeย Trump had while in California during a briefing on the wildfires. One official at the briefing said, โ€œIf we ignore that science and put our head in the sand and think itโ€™s all vegetation management, weโ€™re not going to succeed together in protecting Californians.โ€

โ€œItโ€™ll start getting cooler,โ€™ Trump remarked. โ€œYou just watch.โ€

โ€œI wish science agreed with you,โ€ the official said.

โ€œI donโ€™t think science knows, actually,โ€ the president responded.

Sales bluntly asked, โ€œWas that a display of lying, ignorance, or insanity?โ€

Yes!

And yet Sanders continued to blame the media, which led Sales to simply state for the record that she found this to be ridiculous:

โ€œSo to believe you, somebody watching this interview has to believe that every former senior member of the Trump administration whoโ€™s left and spoken of his unfitness to lead has an ax to grind, that every former senior Republican whoโ€™s spoken out from Colin Powell to the late John McCain has an ax to grind, and then all of these lifelong Republicans are in cahoots with the Democrats and theyโ€™re all also tied up in a conspiracy with the mainstream media, and itโ€™s the mainstream media thatโ€™s peddling lie after lie, not Donald Trump. Thatโ€™s what youโ€™re asking people to believe.โ€

Yes, and not only to believe Sarah, but to believe anything Trump says. Because Sarah gets her instructions from the guy at the top, correct?

Sales asked Sarah how she squared her Christian beliefs with working for such a man. Sarah had the perfect Trumpian answer. She said that Trump came to her defense when attacked by liberals.

Oh, so the fact that he showered you with favor – while loyal to him – THAT is the measure of a good man, according to Sarah. Again, how Trumpian. “He was good to me.”

We hope that the American media is watching and we also hope that Joe Biden was listening because there was a lot in there that Biden could use in debates.

Nice work. Good on ya’, Aussies.
