Melania Trump Cancels Trump Rally Appearance Today Due to Coronavirus Symptoms

Looks like Melania Trump’s big return to the campaign trail will have to wait.

It was big news yesterday when we learned that Melania would be making an appearance at one of her husband’s MAGA campaign rallies. Trump is behind in the polls and for some reason, the Trump campaign believes having Melania there will help him.

But nope, Melania is still suffering the effects of Covid, and is staying put in the White House.

Her chief of staff, Stephanie Grisham, said Tuesday that Melania continues to feel better every day following her recent recovery from COVID-19 but has a lingering cough.

Grisham says the first lady has decided not to accompany Donald Trump to a campaign rally Tuesday evening in Erie, Pennsylvania, out of an abundance of caution.

Melania’s last public appearance was during the Sept. 29 presidential debate in Ohio. She and the Republican president received their positive test results in early October.

The first lady announced last week that she had recovered.
