Melania Trump Shocked Beyoncé Was Given Cover Of ‘Vogue’, Newly Leaked Recording Reveals

In September 2018, Vogue magazine featured a beautiful cover photo of Beyoncé and this photo is historically significant because it’s the first time the magazine employed a Black photographer to shoot its cover star, NBC News [1] reports.

This drew attention from First Lady Melania Trump, who seemed rather surprised by the whole thing, and in a secretly recorded audio, she expressed her own thoughts on the matter.

“Anna gave the September issue of Vogue cover — complete, complete, complete, everything — to Beyoncé,” she said, referring to Vogue editor Anna Wintour.”

The conversation was recorded by Stephanie Winston Wolkoff, her now-former friend.

“She hired Black photographer,” Melania said. “And it’s the first Black photographer ever doing cover of Vogue.”

Winston Wolkoff, Melania Trump’s former adviser, spent a decade working for Vogue and the two were discussing the departure of top editors at the venerated magazine, and when the magazine decided to hire photographer Tyler Mitchell, Beyoncé was definitely on board with the idea because she viewed this as a chance to young, Black artists like Mitchell.

And Vogue noted the cover was “truly a collaborative effort.”

“When Vogue suggested photographer Tyler Mitchell to Beyoncé, the star immediately said yes to the opportunity to work with this young artist,” the magazine noted during its September 2018 release.

Now Trump’s spokeswoman, in a recently released statement, had some sharp criticisms for Winston Wolkoff, who penned the tell-all book “Melania and Me: The Rise and Fall of My Friendship with the First Lady.” She didn’t mention Beyoncé, however.

“Her narcissism knows no bounds, this woman is a fraud,” said spokeswoman Stephanie Grisham. “These audiotapes are hand-picked about nonsense and presented with no context. Shame on her for this continued attempt at character assassination and shame on NBC for covering this gossip.”

Winston Wolkoff began recording her conversations with the First Lady, and the six recorded telephone conversations are extensive, lasting more than six hours, having taken place from February to July 2018. Winston Wolkoff was asked to leave due to controversy regarding expenses incurred by the Presidential Inaugural Committee, which she worked on.

While Trump has largely kept to herself, she does at times say things that echo [2] President Donald Trump’s sentiments, including his racist ones. To her, the press is “stupid,” Democrats are “nasty,” and she claims her husband is “the most popular Republican president ever.” She also talks about “princess” Ivanka and discusses the Steele dossier [3] as well as which news programs she watches.

Most notably she says she doesn’t solely rely on Fox News. Well, that’s in her favor, anyway. Maybe she’s smarter than we think. At any rate, she says:

“I watch CNN. I watch MSNBC,” then she refers to her husband. “Hello. And then they said, ‘Oh, he got angry because my TV.’ Hello. I watch what I want.”

Melania added that she is her own person and claims Trump doesn’t lead her around by the nose.

“Of course I will have CNN and MSNBC and stuff,” she said. “I watch whatever I want. And people think, like, ‘Oh poor Melania. Oh, he’s telling her what to watch.’ No, he’s not.”

But she and Trump are, as the old cliché goes, “two peas in the same pod.” Like her husband, she’s a racist birther [2] who’s only really interested in herself. In a 2011 interview on the view, she told co-host Joy Behar:

“It’s not only Donald who wants to see [Obama’s birth certificate], it’s [the] American people who voted for him and who didn’t want to vote for him. They want to see that.”

I’m just reminding readers that this is the kind of person Melania is. She’s cold, cruel, and calculating.
