Trump Tried to Make a ‘Joke’ About Nancy Pelosi’s Looks and It’s Didn’t End Well For Him

After returning to the White House when he left the hospital, President Donald Trump didn’t waste any time in taking off his mask and possibly infecting anyone around him with coronavirus and that led House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to criticize him sharply, Indy100 reports.

“Going into crowds unmasked and all the rest was sort of a brazen invitation for something like this to happen,” she said.

Predictably, Trump was offended and snapped at Pelosi on his usual soapbox: Twitter.

“Wear your mask in the ‘beauty’ parlor, Nancy!” referring to the time she was spotted in a beauty parlor, without a mask.

Because what’s a better sign that Trump is back than him being a mean and sexist pig?

And whenever Trump writes something this stupid, which is pretty much every day, the Twitterati gives him a good hiding of epic proportions.

Other Twitter users were offended by Trump’s sexism and his jab at Pelosi’s appearance and they noted he’s not up to much in the looks department himself.

One Twitter user put this pretty succinctly, I might add.

Trump has recently thrown a monkey wrench into the stimulus package situation by saying he was calling off all such negotiations until after the election, then changed course in a pair of late-night tweets, perhaps realizing this wasn’t exactly a good idea. It led Pelosi to wonder, during an appearance on The View, if he understood this was a bad idea, ABC News reports.

“It’s hard to see any clear, sane path on what he’s doing but the fact is, he saw the political downside of his statement of walking away from the negotiations …he’s rebounding from a terrible mistake he made yesterday and the Republicans in Congress are going down the drain with him on that,” she said.

Pelosi noted that when Trump arbitrarily called off discussions without notifying lawmakers it was an insult to “the Constitution of the United States,” but she also indicated concern over the coronavirus situation at the White House because so many of Trump’s advisers have been infected.

“I don’t want to go anywhere near the White House,” she said. “It’s one of the most dangerous places in the country.”

She also said she’s worried about Trump’s mental state, noting that even though he’s always been erratic, he’s now on medications that can exacerbate the situation and she chided those around the president for not intervening.

“I think it’s true to form,” she said of his behavior. “I think the president has always had erratic behavior. Right now, it’s very, very dangerous, because he knows the danger of the virus, but he’s in denial, as he was right from the start. Denial, delay, distortion.”

“But again, there are enablers around the president, who really should know better, who really should know better,” Pelosi added, noting that it’s time for an intervention.
