Trump Freaks Out and Sends Late Night Tweet Furious That #DiaperDon is Trending on Twitter

It will be shorter this time because our readers have heard it today but we’re going to remind ourselves. Yesterday, 2,313 people died in the United States of COVID coinciding with the second-biggest travel day of the year, only Sunday is bigger.

We keep saying this because it is actually one of the few times when we absolutely need a president. There are a surprising number of days that go by that a president may want to use to stay in touch with people or catch up on some needed information. Seldom is a president absolutely needed.

And we do not have one.

The man in the Oval Office is obsessed with only one thing. Himself. Of course, that doesn’t surprise anyone because it’s been that way since the beginning. Only the panic is new.  Only someone panicking could put out a tweet this disgusting (to the people mourning a death from yesterday or today, or one sure to be tomorrow) at 11:00 p.m. local time in Washington.

One of the hallmarks of the Trump presidency has been this obsession with conservative discrimination. He has had both the House and Senate his first two years, and the senate (thankfully for him) the last two years, and he’s put 3 justices on the court. He has a nightly line-up slathering over him on Fox. But it’s all a TV show and so he only cares about the ratings. He wants good ratings on Twitter and perfect coverage on Fox. He demands it.

Perhaps if he put his head down for a bit and said only: We are out of control on COVID and it’s looking to be much worse very soon, I want a meeting with …” He might get some good, positive responses, maybe even from us. Unfortunately, that’s not an option.

Here are the country’s thoughts about his whining:
