Trump Furious at Mitch McConnell for Not Doing ENOUGH to Help Him Claim Voter Fraud

Donald Trump absolutely, positively, believes he will get a second term as president IF he can just “will it” strongly enough into the heads of other top GOP officials.

We will spare our regular readers having to again review the logistics of the plan but it does depend upon near-universal GOP outrage about a “stolen election” and that’s just not happening because, well, it doesn’t appear to have been stolen. Second, the more insane the GOP Senators look and the more chances they take, the more likely they cost themselves votes in Georgia in the runoff to determine if they will even be relevant after January 3rd.

Mitch McConnell wants his fcking majority far more than he wants Donald Trump if he needs to make a choice.

And that’s making Trump angry because McConnell isn’t doing enough, according to the Washington Post:

The flaw in this bargain is evident in the fact that Trump is reportedly angry at Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) and Republicans for not doing quite enough to keep that illusion alive.

And quoting CNN:

McConnell’s speech followed a days-long pressure campaign from Trump and his closest allies, who privately urged congressional Republicans to support their evidence-free claims that the election was fraudulent. While a handful had taken up the cause, by Monday the President had grown frustrated that more top Republicans had not put out statements or gone on TV to amplify his message, according to two people familiar with the matter.

The President, feeling as though McConnell and others had abandoned him, lashed out at some GOP allies, and even dangled the idea of not helping Republicans in two runoff elections in Georgia that will decide which party controls the Senate, according to one person told about the outburst. Multiple sources close to McConnell have denied Trump said this directly to McConnell.

Oh, no. We DO believe that Trump dangled the “I won’t help you in Georgia” threat, because if Donald Trump isn’t president he couldn’t give a flying duck about the Georgia senate race.

Again, as everyone knows, “the plan” is for state legislatures to step in. But it requires fury among near all Republicans and a universal message. Trump simply isn’t getting it. We speculate for three reasons: A) He simply lost by too much to make a suitable effort, B) There isn’t enough evidence of any fraud anywhere, and C) Well over half of them can’t stand Trump in the first place and don’t think that a Joe Biden administration is the worst thing that could happen to the United States.

The funny part is that most in the GOP are already doing a LOT to help Trump, enough to get themselves in real trouble. The two senators from Georgia signed a letter complaining about the fraudulent election and both were treated to a front-page Atlanta Journal-Constitution editorial (front page!!) to STFU because they’re hurting their state. Both are in a run-off by the way and both don’t appreciate front-page editorials calling them dangerous. The point is that many in the GOP are already doing plenty for Trump.

But it’s not enough for Trump.

It is not enough for Trump because the universal push to see this election as fraudulent isn’t materializing. And Trump knows that it makes his plan almost impossible.
