Trump Seems to Honestly Believe that Protests Can Overturn Elections

As we all know, Donald Trump has steadfastly refused to concede that he lost the election.

Indeed, of late, he’s been acting more like he’s still campaigning than someone would act post-election, where you would think that the plan would be more geared to legalities, court drama, and approaching state legislators. But Trump seems to believe that those court cases and the legislative plans are more likely to succeed if he’s acting like he’s campaigning, talking about his incredible work (at least on Twitter and yesterday in the Rose Garden). He might be correct in that, at least with respect to making people wish he won.

But his Twitter feed is stuffed with proof that he believes he still has an election to win and it’s a combo of convincing people he’s the best president ever and that he got cheated. We aren’t publishing much out of his Twitter feed because you might have noticed, they all come with warnings – which might impact whether our stories get published on the major news sites, and so we’re staying away from them a bit.

But we couldn’t help but notice today, Trump had a special glee (the drive-by) and now the tweet, in seeing people protest for him, as if these protests make any sort of structural change to the legal process as to who will or will not be president. Some might recall that nearly one million real women with pink hats protested after Trump’s inauguration and they didn’t have the goal of getting out of office, but more letting him know they were there, watching, and they mattered. (There was also no epidemic).

Anyway, here’s Trump begging to have this matter, you can feel his excitement:

“Stolen.” He has never actually “lost” an election. All the way back to the Iowa caucuses. They are all rigged against him. Interestingly enough, the millions or tens of thousands of votes against him that are all invalid forgot to put in a ton of votes against senate candidates, which would be so easy in comparison. No one is saying that any of the Republican victories in N.C., Maine, etc. had problems.

I guess the thieves only wanted to steal one election at a time.

Trump is just so transparent.
