Pat Robertson of the 700 Club is praying that this government goes full dictatorship by January 6th. He has always wanted to live in a fascist country, so long as he got to pick the fascist, and the fascist was benevolent to the “right people,” meaning all those that look and act like Pat Robertson. Indeed, it almost sounds like … heaven.

So Pat is praying, praying that his president, Saddam, oops, we mean “Trump,” will come through for him, and arrest that mother ffff Biden, because what the hell is the presidency worth if you can’t arrest your damned political opponents! From Crooks and Liars:

“Ladies and gentlemen, the thing we want to realize, if somewhere along the way, there is some kind of an indictment against Joe Biden, the electors have a perfect right, or at least Congress has a perfect right, not to certify the electors, and to go with other electors or to go with the sitting vice president or do a number of things, instead of certifying, so the game isn’t over yet.”

Except, the thing is, the game is, actually – over. There is no overtime in this game, it was not tied.  And really, if things were that insane, technically it would be president Kamala Harris, the person on the ballet who beat Donald Trump and Mike Pence. Though things are not that insane and Joe Biden will be president come January 6th and January 20th. Trump – and you – get to lose again and again.

“If the President-elect was involved at all with that, and if that probe will be expanded to include him, it is highly unlikely that Congress is going to certify those electors and put him into office, so, yeah. We’ll see what happens, okay.”

Involved in all of what? They have yet to prove a thing which is what often happens when a thing doesn’t happen. But Pat best pray hard because right now, American democracy looks to be holding, damn it. Fascism just isn’t in God’s plans, apparently.

So thank God, I guess. Along with all the Biden voters, the campaign volunteers, the campaign people, and Joe and Kamala. Thank them all. We suspect Joe has already thanked God as well.
