Trump Retweets ‘Trump Won the Electoral College’ and Americans are Disgusted, ‘This Degree of Denial of Reality is Mental Illness’

The denial of reality will not be denied.

We always knew that Trump would be a tough out, he has never seen a rule or a law she wasn’t willing to break if it furthered his interests and we suspect that this belief and his actions go back fifty years. The only questions surrounded how he would go about claiming that the country rigged the election against him.

To tell the truth, it’s a bit disappointing in that we thought he’d at least be able to get his hands on something that looked like real evidence. We wonder if some of his previous supporters, maybe ones from outside the country, just weren’t that into it this time.

One thing we didn’t see coming but damn well should have was the vigor with which the official elected Republican party and even the RNC would fight alongside him. For some ridiculous reason, we believed there would be more hesitation within the Senate and House about openly defying the constitution. There are rules against such types of things, and there are even criminal penalties when it gets taken too far. Trump is tipping right up to that line right now.

But it’s the shamelessness with which they announce without even an ounce of proof, that Trump “won by a landslide” according to Trump. It is enough to get Biden riled up a bit as he was last night during his speech. He had a bit of vinegar in his speech last night.

Regardless, none of it matters to Trump and the MAGAs, they simply continue on in their own little world. Trump’s favorite Congressman, Mo Brooks from northern Alabama’s Third District (which includes Huntsville and that’s heart-breaking because Huntsville is a truly wonderful little city and that’s said with deep sincerity). Here is Trump re-tweeting Brooks:

Look at the warning at the bottom. This is no longer sufficient, Twitter. This now has to be “The Election Was Won By President-Elect Joe Biden.” Because this is no longer in doubt or contested, other than hysterics yammered out by Trump on Twitter. Mo Brooks is not “fighting for his country,” he is fighting against it and against the Constitution he swore to protect.

Shameful.

Twitter agrees:
