Election 2020
Karlie Kloss Has Had it With Her In-Laws Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner, ‘I’ve Tried!’
When it comes to discussing her relationship with the Trump family, Karlie Kloss usually keeps to herself. But the situation has changed after Wednesday’s riots, and the model and Project Runway judge made it clear that she doesn’t in any way support the actions of the unruly mob, according to Mediaite. She said she’s also tried to convince Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner to accept the results of the 2020 election.
“Accepting the results of a legitimate democratic election is patriotic,” she noted in a Twitter post. “Refusing to do so and inciting violence is Anti-American.”

One Twitter user in a since-deleted tweet, responded, “Tell your sister-in-law and brother-in-law,” and Kloss responded, “I’ve tried.”

Kloss is married to Kushner’s brother Joshua, and she doesn’t usually discuss her connection to the Trump family but earlier this year a clip went viral after one of the Project Runway contestants called out her ties to the Kushners during an episode of the show.
In a later appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Kloss discussed the incident.
“I’m sure I’m not the only person in this country who does not necessarily agree with their family on politics,” she told Cohen. “I voted as a Democrat in 2016, and I plan to do the same in 2020.”
She’s not the only celebrity who’s condemned Wednesday’s riots in Washington. Scores of celebrities, including Sarah Jessica Parker, John Cusack, Mark Ruffalo, and Josh Gad expressed revulsion and horror at the shocking events.
Unimaginable.
Disgraceful.
Shocking.
But no surprise.
So many to hold responsible. You know who you are.
You dismissed the violent, divisive, cruel rhetoric. You made excuses.
Cowards
He/you are not leaders.

This is either a dereliction of duty by the Capital Police or a complicit desire to not plan for the known threat of chaos today. Either way, this is inexcusable. If you can be prepared for imaginary ANTIFA protestors, you had no business not prepping for these actual terrorists.

This is on any Republican who voted to Not impeach this criminal. Props to Romney, the only brave Republican I can think of. Are there any others I should forgive?

This is what the President of the United States Donald Trump meant when he said — Stand back, and stand by.
— Chloë Grace Moretz (@ChloeGMoretz) January 6, 2021
So many of #Trump's people are asking him to appear and tell the crowds to disperse, but he won't, and you know why? BECAUSE HE'S GETTING OFF ON IT. He loves the chaos, violence, and most of all….the RATINGS. LET'S GET REAL.

#ARRESTTRUMPNOW ARREST THIS PSYCHOPATH. HE HAS VIOLATED HIS OATH OF OFFICE #SEDITION

Kudos to those who have spoken out. It’s entirely clear Trump needs to be removed from office. Wednesday’s riot turned deadly and the lives of very people who uphold the law of the land were endangered. Trump has done nothing but pour gasoline on this fire and who knows what else is going to happen in the days before President-elect Joe Biden is inaugurated. Further, I suggest his inauguration should be virtual. He should be surrounded by the Secret Service. I’m worried his life may be threatened. Truly, many of Trump’s supporters are obviously unhinged monsters and those arrested should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
