Mike Pence Planning to Attend Joe Biden’s Inauguration While Cowardly Trump Runs Off and Hides
Well, it looks like Mike Pence won’t get getting off Donald Trump’s shit list any time soon.
According to Politico, Pence plans to attend Joe Biden’s Jan. 20 inauguration in a show of support for the peaceful transfer of power.
Sources close to the besieged vice president told Politico that Pence found the decision easy to make in the wake of President Trump’s public attacks against him after he refused to try and overturn Biden’s Electoral College victory.
“It was a much more difficult decision days ago, but less difficult now,” a person close to Pence told the publication.
Trump is expected to snub Biden’s presidential inauguration as he continues to claim the election was stolen from him.

Hundreds of the president’s supporters stormed the US Capitol on Wednesday after attending a rally outside the White House where Trump gave a fiery speech in which he claimed the election was “rigged.” Many of the supporters were overheard chanting “Where is Mike Pence”, endangering the Vice President and his family, who were also in the Capitol.
Pence is reportedly furious with Trump for making him the target of the angry crowds.
In a since-deleted tweet at the height of the violent scene, Trump expressed his displeasure at Pence for not carrying out his wishes, writing that he “didn’t have the courage to do what should have been done to protect our Country and our Constitution.”
As of now we don’t know what Trump is doing for the inauguration. Current rumors have him going to Scotland on January 19th.
Twitter had some thoughts:
Pence is expected to attend the Biden inauguration as a show of a “peaceful transfer of power.” It would be much appreciated if he invokes the 25th amendment before then. Like today.

Lying bigot Mike Pence announces he’s attending President Joe Biden’s inauguration to cower away from him invoking the 25th Amendment and to also cloud the fact that he enabled, helped and encouraged lies, crimes, death, racism, treason, sedition and terrorism for 4 years.

The primary reason to remove Trump right now is to prevent him from causing any further harm in the next two weeks, but one extra benefit is that Pence will attend inauguration and participate in the ceremonial transfer of power.

People around VP Pence are encouraging him to attend the Inauguration of President-Elect Biden, and if he is invited, he is expected to attend, according to two sources familiar with the matter. pic.twitter.com/1MpxX0JUbG

It shouldn’t have to be breaking news that a vice president plans to attend an inauguration, but here we are. https://t.co/ZHLE3SnNAr

I only care about this if Pence is attending as 46, to the inauguration of 47.
Meaning the 25th was invoked to remove 45 early.
