More Bad News for Loser Trump: His European Golf Courses Have Lost Approximately $90 Million

“Super Rich” Donald Trump keeps throwing up a lot of evidence that he might not be near as rich as he “appears.” Obviously, it’s not like we’re the only ones who have cast doubt, we’re just stepping up onto the train here but maybe we can add some extra analysis on this.

Trump just keeps losing money hand over fist with his Scotland club and Ireland club. Here is Rawstory relaying a Forbes investigation:

“Donald Trump continued losing money in 2019 at his two golf properties in Scotland, where he has been struggling for years, according to documents released this week. Turnberry, the most prestigious property in Trump’s golf empire, lost about $3 million on revenue of $26 million. A second business, near the Scottish city of Aberdeen, bled $1.5 million on $4.3 million in sales,” Dan Alexander reported Saturday.

“That’s bad news for the Trump Organization, which has now declared losses of roughly $90 million at its European golf resorts, according to an analysis of records from Ireland and the United Kingdom. Since the president opened his Aberdeen course in 2012, he has lost $15.5 million. Business has been even worse at Turnberry, which Trump bought in 2014 for $65 million.

Yeah. That’s bad.

The thing is, this is not like a unicorn, he has properties all over the place losing money. Look at his Doral Resort in Miami: “Right by the airport!” he said as he desperately tried to get the G7 meeting in the middle of Miami. To give one an idea as to just how desperate this ploy sounded … these meetings are usually held in beautiful but “out of the way” places in each nation, a quiet place to meet without a ton of media around. For example, in 2018, the meetings were held in La Malbaie, Quebec, Canada. It is not the Yukon but it’s not downtown Toronto, either.  And that’s sort of what Trump proposed.

He will go to just about any length to make a few million dollars, anywhere and everywhere. We keep using Mike Bloomberg as an example but Mike is a real billionaire and worries about projects in the $500 million range, not $2 million. At times Trump looks … desperate.

So where does his money come from? Well, Scotland wants to know because they started an investigation under a law used to root out possible investments that may be made to launder money when someone has property that seems way beyond one’s ability to pay.

We are not saying that Trump launders Russian money but mostly because we don’t need to say it. There are plenty of people out there speculating that this is exactly what Trump does but there’s no concrete evidence, yet.

The problem with laundering money is that you need to look like you actually could have that money or the whole thing becomes obvious, right? And so that,  could often be the reason that Trump may be desperate and may want to juice campaign money … because he likes big piles of money. He can often can find a way to squeeze money from one account into another.

Put it this way, no one knows … yet. But there should be a lot of investigations the moment he doesn’t control every organization that might otherwise do so. A real investigation might reveal everything, from money right on up to why Trump loves Russia so much he cannot cross Putin.
