Post Riots, Stephanie Winston-Wolkoff Tears into Silent Melania: ‘She Is an Extension of Him’

For two full days, we asked why we had not heard a squeak from Melania, Ms. “Be Best” herself, about the riots in the Capitol. We heard from Ivanka, “Patriots, please stop …” we heard from Don Jr. “Don’t be like them!” and we heard from Trump himself, “We love you.” All of it culminating in a truly Trumpian bit of twisted irony, the husband of Ms. Best Best anti-cyberbullying couldn’t even remain on Twitter, his bullying became a national security issue.

But through it all, we didn’t hear a word from Melania or even the FLOTUS office.

You would think that the woman who is forever worried about her image would either know to jump on the opportunity (opportunist, yes) and set herself apart from the carnage. But she did not. We had to learn from CNN that Melania was doing a photoshoot of pretty things like rugs that she restored while the mob tore away the pretty things at the Capitol, breaking windows and ransacking offices, that now have to be restored, along with a nation’s composure.

She never did stop the photoshoot. Melania is consumed with herself. We knew.

We know it, in part, because Stephanie Winston-Wolkoffe told us in her book, “Melania and Me. ” Now Winston-Wolkoffe sends Melania off to Mar-a-Lago, or wherever else they end up, with a fitting summation published in The Daily Beast, this was all so predictable, including Melania’s silence. She is 100% complicit:

By sharing my history with her, I unmasked her true identity and revealed an unvarnished portrait of a woman whose veneer I’ve stripped off, leaving nothing but an “unapologetically, skin-deep” woman. Only they could flick aside having their lives ripped open and all their regretful, hateful, humiliating moments splayed out for the world to see and judge. Melania and Donald are a perfect match.

Yes, we knew.

Melania is no better than Donald is in terms of needing attention. She wasted a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to create a platform to make a difference in the lives of so many children and didn’t provide any of that. She was just there as an extension of Donald, used to “soften” his image, highlight his showmanship, and smile for the cameras. In her free time she took up “albuming” and made scrapbooks filled with photographs of herself. Melania is simply an extension of her husband, just as hypocritical, speaking out of both sides of her mouth, when it suits her best. The tapes push beyond the, “he said/she said,” and despite attempts at a public image of concern and care; what was on the back of Melania’s jacket wasn’t just by design, it’s her mantra. It extends to responsibilities as first lady, which was, “I DON’T CARE.”

“Scrapbooks of herself.” It sounds like the coffee-table book that Melania was putting together during the photo shoot. There is no question that Melania wasted a once in a lifetime opportunity. As we have written many times before, it was the perfect cause at the perfect time. It didn’t require a perfect person. It just required someone who cared.

Instead, we got Melania, someone who didn’t care because the media wouldn’t give her credit anyway, meaning it was all about her in the first place. In other words, she is a Trump and she did what Trumps do with respect to that cause. She killed it.

Now, she will go off to Mar-a-Lago, still pretty, not even broken, really. It is hard to break anything that has no heart or spine.
