You know how right-wing, QAnon-believing Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene keeps trying to convince people that she’s not an idiot and then turns right around and proves that she is? Well, she’s at it again, trying to get herself involved in an imbroglio with Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who graduated cum laude from Boston University where she double-majored in international relations and economics.

Meaning, cough-cough, she knows a thing or two. Oh sure, Greene graduated from the University of Georgia, with a Bachelor of Business Administration, but she’s long on conspiracy theories and short on common sense. Now, however, the worlds of Ocasio-Cortez and Green have collided, Right Wing Watch reports.

Greene has spent the last several days talking about Ocasio-Cortez’s Green New Deal and wants to challenge her over it in a debate. So she confronted Ocasio-Cortez Wednesday on the House floor. That led Ocasio-Cortez to ask Greene if she’d even read the legislation.

Thursday, in a Facebook video, announced she’d read the 14-page bill and said she’s ready for the debate and then declared that if Ocasio-Cortez doesn’t take part, she’ll just show the world that “she’s a scared little girl that is pretty stupid and doesn’t know anything about the economy or economics.”

Apparently, Greene doesn’t understand irony when she’s looking right at it.

“I’ve read all 14 little pages, and I’m very ready to debate her on the House floor,” Greene said. “She better show up. If she chickens out, then she shows exactly who she really is: a scared little girl that is pretty stupid and doesn’t know anything about the economy or economics. She boasts that she does because she has ‘a degree’ in economics, but she doesn’t have enough common sense to actually be able to produce anything in the real world, she just has a government job.”

Um…does Greene remember she also “has a government job?”

This debate ought to be hilarious. Ocasio-Cortez is fiercely intelligent and she does not suffer fools gladly. And Greene? She talked about that weird Jewish space laser thing and then tried to back-track. She has a history of supporting violence against Democrats and FBI agents, and has also promoted violent conspiracy theories that CNN  called “deranged.”

I’m about 100 percent certain AOC is going to leave bruises and Greene may want to stock up on Band-Aids.
