Serial Cheater and Thrice Married Newt Gingrich Slams Gay Americans for Violating ‘Traditional American Values’

Newt Gingrich rose to relevance due to a willingness to say the most outrageous and hateful things, addressing matters tailored to the period in which he addressed them, ever-changing to hate what society then accepted.

Quite obviously, unlike many of us who continue to progress through the years, including President Joe Biden, who has evolved on many issues to match the times, Newt refuses to budge. Many of us, even a few Republicans, sit back on a boat sailing over new freedoms and values, with Newt treading water, screaming that we’re all going down.

Some of us left high school and entered college sneering at gay men and women, laughing at the idea of gay marriage, and not thinking much about AIDS. Many of us at all ages started dropping that attitude ten years later, and ten years after we were diehard supporters, marching alongside our LGTBQ brothers and sisters in Pride parades, not because we were and are hypocrites, but because we learned, listened, cared, and matured. Many in society continue to think that’s part of maturation, the type that never stops.

LGTBQ rights are now so accepted and expected that when the SCOTUS addressed the marriage issue, it did so while acknowledging that a majority were demanding that the Constitution match society’s expectations. The SCOTUS knew the majority of the country expected the Court to evolve, too. And yet Newt steadfastly insists that “traditional American values” include the right to deny LGTBQ equal existence, never mind rights. To Newt, hating the right people is a traditional American value.

Newt appeared on Judge Jeanine last night in order to explain “traditional American values” to the audience. Maybe it is relevant to note that Newt has been married three times, make of that what you will. But he cheated on his second wife while she was dying of cancer and he was trying to impeach Clinton over blow jobs and lying about his girlfriend. We admit, shameless political hyposcrisy is a traditional American value because we know which of the two scenarios is a sicker value in that situation.

Yeah, wut?

The net had some thoughts for Newt:
