Marjorie Taylor Greene Defends Capitol Rioters in Absolutely Shocking and Un-American Floor Speech

Marjorie Taylor-Greene has more than a bit of Donald Trump in her. When someone comes on the scene solely because she’s willing to say completely outrageous things, that person is under pressure to keep saying more outrageous things. It is almost like a dr*g habit, the first hits are the best, but after a bit, it’s not doing it like before, it takes bigger doses, she is chasing the dragon, and it gets increasingly dangerous seeking that same high.

Today she stood on the House floor to defend those who tried to overthrow our democracy, while slamming people who protested police who hunt Black men, almost for sport. Yes, some of the BLM protests got way out of hand, unjustifiably out of hand, but nowhere near all – those were a minority, we seem to recall many more marches during the day, peacefully. But they never got airtime on Fox. Moreover, their intent was to be heard, not delay or impose their will – their entitlement – on the change of command.

There is also the fact that a lot of evidence points to an event that might have been planned at the highest levels. But today, Marj made one group heroes while the other group, well – criminals, the way the police always viewed them:

“The question that comes to mind is this: What about all the riots that happened during the summer of 2020 after the passing of George Floyd?” Greene asked. “What about all the damage caused to federal buildings, churches, people’s businesses, and innocent people that lost their lives, like David Dorn?

“Indeed, we should have a commission to study the BLM and Antifa mobs that have plagued American cities this past summer. And that’s for the American people, who, by the way, pay the taxes that fund everything we do here.”

Black Americans are not Americans who pay taxes that fund everything Congress does there? That seems to be her assumption, and we’re not the least bit surprised. This is a speech on the House floor, not to OAN – keep that in mind:

“While it’s catch and release for domestic terrorists, Antifa, BLM — the people that breached the Capitol on Jan. 6 are in jail,” she said. “Some even being held for 23 hours a day in solitary confinement.”

“Also, who k*lled Ashli Babbitt and why is that not being revealed?” Greene continued, referring to the woman who lost her life while storming the Capitol. “Does her family not deserve justice?”

No one from BLM or Antifa has had a “catch and release” situation if they did the worst of the violence, nor attacked law enforcement. In terms of what happened to Ashli Babbit, she happened to be warned about 10 times and lasted longer than the one warning a Black American would get, or the non-warning George Floyd got.

One of the reasons that the January 6th group is being kept in jail awaiting trial is that they refuse to acknowledge the legitimacy of the current government, they are generally armed, they follow a man who won’t shut up about the stolen election, and generally believe that they are still in the right to have done what they did.

And, Marj, while we’ve got you here, why were people attempting a coup at the Capitol again? Does last summer make all that okay? Seems to be all they have. This was Marj’s most racist, repugnant, and outrageous speech on the House floor yet. They will only devolve from there. It is what an attention junkie does.

Oh, she ended by:  Calling to end “the witch hunt of Donald J. Trump” and “all of those who support him.”

Last thing, we always post this. No one, ever, should forget this. Something big happened here:
