Caitlyn Jenner Refuses to Say Trump Lost the 2020 Election and Joy Behar Really Let’s Her Have It

At one point in time, Caitlyn Jenner knew that if she wanted to be governor of California, she had to separate herself from the Trump MAGA movement. She had to be part of the old Republican party, the one that doesn’t pledge allegiance to Trump. She seemed to want to give it a try.

But her team must have run some numbers that show she has no chance of winning without latching on to the MAGAs which – surprise – is going to be an issue in a split party in many areas of the country to come. Caitlyn was on The View Thursday morning and Joy Behar is just too smart to be manipulated like this. Thanks to Mediaite for the transcript:

“I want to ask you something before we go because we’re out of time. Something that’s important for me to know,” said Joy Behar. “You say that you’re a Republican, and I’m just wondering because a lot of Republicans in this country believe that Donald Trump won the election and not Joe Biden. Are you one of those people, one of those Republicans?”

Jenner evaded the question, noting she’s “not going to get into that” because the “election is over with.”

“I think Donald Trump did do some good things,” she continued. “What I liked about Donald Trump is that he was a disrupter.”

“But did he win? Did he win the election?” Behar shot back.

“He was a disrupter when he was president. I want to do the same thing. I want to go in and be a thoughtful disrupter in Sacramento,” Jenner said. “We need to change the system. I want to change that system for the positive. I’m in it for the people.

The election is not over. Donald Trump references it every single time he speaks and several states are now talking about doing “audits.” It is far from over and Donald Trump’s “disruption” of our democratic system is not what is needed anywhere that wants to avoid fascism as disruption, whether Sacramento, Boise, or Washington DC.

She has gone MAGA whether she admits it to herself and voters or not. She is the first of many. She is just more famous.
