GOP MAGA Rep Lauren Boebert Says that Her Election Was ‘Ordained by Jesus’

We have already established that Qanon-MAGA-gun toting Representative Lauren Boebert is dangerous. She is the one who tweeted out that “Today is 1776” on the morning of January 6th. With each day, it is becoming more clear that what happened that day was anything but spontaneous. Anyone who knew that the day would be anything more than a loud, obnoxious protest is very suspect at this point.

One way to make things much more dangerous is to strengthen the MAGA’s certainty that they are the party of faith, that they are doing God’s work, to the point that God is actively putting them in positions of power. Christians are not immune from terrorism. Muslim extremists are not the only people willing to be violent. It is extremism itself that motivates people, not the religion, not the color of one’s skin, or their faith. It is how they are brought up, what they’ve been taught, how strongly they believe it, and what they’re willing to do.

Thus, when Lauren Boebert, a person loved by the far-right extremists, starts talking about being ordained by Jesus, it is both funny, but also exceedingly dangerous, from the video below, given to Tony Perkins’ Pray Vote Stand webcast.

“My victory in this race is certainly a sign and a wonder, just like God promised. The wisdom of the world is foolishness in God’s sight.

“Just like God promised, he said, ‘Here I am,’ Isaiah 8:18 says, ‘Here I am, and the children whom the Lord has given me. We are made for signs and wonder,’ and this victory was a sign and a wonder to so many people who think that they have it figured it out.

“It’s really been stirring in my spirit lately that there have been two countries created to glorify God. The United States and Israel.

“I’ve read the end of the book and the United States of America will glorify God.”

There are two countries created to glorify God? It is like an open license to do something if people believe that the left is not glorifying God and getting in the way of this country’s purpose.

As funny as this might be, it doesn’t take away from the danger and it is worth monitoring the even increasing extremism currently burning through the Right.
