Jim Acosta Corners Marjorie Taylor-Greene and Humiliates Her By Simply Asking Basic Questions: ‘I Don’t Have to Prove Anything’

Jim Acosta has taken a step up, both in his visibility and prominence on CNN, and in his value as a true journalist who is done sugarcoating America’s perception of itself circa 2021.

Acosta has rejected the old mainstream media staple. The reliable “both sides” thing has gone by the wayside, at least it has for Acosta. (There are other notables, Brianna Kieler, Brian Williams, and more). Given the current polarized climate, most on the Right refuse to appear on any network that isn’t their safe spot, complete with a security blanket. Conversely, the networks on the hard right won’t invite Democrats on the air, too much truth might slip into the conversation.

But Acosta is undaunted. He is going to get his interviews one way or another. He has decided to simply approach our public servants in their environment. Acosta is doing nothing more than what journalists used to do all the time. He is not aggressive, nor threatening, he just asks to speak to them for a moment in their capacity as a representative of the United States, drawing a public salary.

The issue of the day, the one poisoning American culture and democracy, is a combination of the “Big Lie” along with the whitewash of January 6th. They are almost the same issue. Republicans have mastered dodging the truth by inventing a pretend world, one in which the proof is always right around the corner. Acosta wants to know more about this pretend world.

This last week, Acosta approached one of the worst, Majorie Taylor-Greene in an unthreatening manner on the sidewalk in and around the Capitol. She wouldn’t ever dare set foot in a CNN studio, or over the net. So, why not ask her a couple of questions while enjoying the sunshine? Acosta wanted to know “Why are you accusing the FBI of having something to do with January 6th? Where is the proof? Where is the proof about the elections? Things pertaining to the big lie. Marj proved she had nothing but a big “I don’t know” in her bronze head:

Take note, journalists. This is exactly how it is done. Keep doing it, keep getting them on the record. They have nothing.
