All Trump Kids Except Barron Lose Secret Service Protection and Now Barron Trends No. 1 on Twitter

As we reported yesterday, the adult Trump children lost their Secret Service protection on Tuesday. Most adult presidential family members lose Secret Service protection the day of the inauguration, but it can be extended on the order of the president, which – of course, Trump did. One can ask “Why?” Trump extended the protection. The answer is likely some combination of paranoia and renting rooms at Trump’s places. One thing we know, money was involved, or Trump wouldn’t have done it.

But Barron Trump is the exception and why not? We support continuing protection for a minor under the age of sixteen. We support it, even when it comes to the Trumps. Unlike adults, children can be easily distracted and don’t sense “Something is wrong,” quite as well as grown adults, though we can speculate on whether any of the adult Trump kids possess that sense. Still, we support it. Children are vulnerable and it wasn’t Barron’s choice to have his sperm do… “dad” run for president.

Somehow, the fact that Barron Trump still has his Secret Service protection caused Twitter to shake this morning and we’re not quite sure why. Perhaps it’s just because everyone wrote “Except Barron,” and that alone did it. But without regard to how it all came about, Twitter is very much having a discussion about Barron this morning. We want to reiterate, this is a kid and we don’t approve of this one below.

The second one is unfair. Perhaps it happened, but perhaps it’s also a story embellished terribly by an “ex” girlfriend (whatever that means because all we know is that Junior went from his wife to Kimberley) and perhaps this story occurred when Barron was two.
