BOOM: Cheney Says McCarthy Appointed a Possible ‘Material Witness’ to January 6th Committee: Jim Jordan?

It took Donald Trump to make Liz Cheney a champion of the left. And yes, Liz Cheney is quickly becoming heroic by rejecting what is both clearly false, and just as clearly, bad for democracy, all of it at her party’s expense and to her great personal expense. Cheney wants democracy over a militant, autocratic, Trumpian-Republican government. We cannot know, but we bet she voted for Joe Biden, no matter what she says (And we don’t know if she’s said anything about for whom she voted).

Liz Cheney came out fiercely in defense of democracy today by kicking Kevin McCarthy to the curb when she used the most dreaded accusation in Washington, a “cover-up.”

“The rhetoric we have heard from the minority leader is disingenuous. At every opportunity, the minority leader has attempted to prevent the American people from understanding what happened.

Cheney agreed with Pelosi’s decision to cut Jim Jordan and Jim Banks off the committee. Cheney said that one of them might be a material witness. Reading just a little into the situation, she is almost surely referring to Mr. Gym Jordan, who on January 6th wanted to “help get the ladies out” and turned to Cheney, who used some extremely salty language to push Jordan away, saying “You did this!” We suspect that the people in Congress know far more about what was planned for that day than we know. “You did this!” says a lot.

We believe she is referencing Jordan as the material witness. Watch:

Yes, it took Trump, but we’re glad to have her. Cheney is damned smart and tougher than three of us. Good to have her on democracy’s side. We will worry about “liberal versus conservative” once we get our country back.
