Watch Jim Acosta Humiliate a Clueless Madison Cawthorn When He’s Asked About the ‘Big Lie’

Jim Acosta is quickly becoming the most necessary journalist in America on two fronts.

Acosta is the journalist who is most aggressively calling out Fox News as the “B.S. Factory,” going after Tucker Carlson especially. Tucker might be setting up the most dangerous lie of all – that the FBI was involved in organizing January 6th. And, Acosta is also the least fearful in confronting Republican politicians about the big lie.

Acosta’s confrontation with Madison Cawthorn, one of Congress’s biggest MAGAs has the net cheering, hoping to push other journalists along the same path. This last week, Acosta confronted Cawthorn as the MAGA congressional delegation toured the border area. After Cawthorn excused everything that happened on January 6th as “wrong” and people should be prosecuted, Acosta pounced:

ACOSTA: “But he had been telling the big lie for weeks and continues to lie about the election. Why not find another standard-bearer for the party? Maybe you could be a standard-bearer for the party.”

CAWTHORN: “I do look forward to being the future of the Republican party, but I think Donald Trump is leading the way on that. You and I know that we have a complete disagreement. I do believe the election was stolen …”

ACOSTA (Very surprised) “You still believe the election was stolen?”

CAWTHORN: “I still believe the election was stolen.”

ACOSTA: “Where is the proof of that? It was all rejected by the courts,”

CAWTHORN: “I believe the judicial system failed us,”

Well done, Jim. The courts bent over backward for the Republicans, begging them to show them evidence of fraud and when the Republicans couldn’t show any evidence, the cases got dismissed, just like any other case without evidence. But more importantly, Acosta made Cawthorn address the lie directly, while pointing to the lack of evidence. Cawthorn wants the country to believe that all 80 courts that heard the cases “failed” us.

The lie and agenda is exposed. Nothing but a Trump victory is “true.”
