Mo Brooks Sympathizes with Dangerous Threat at Capitol, Says He ‘Understands Citizenry Anger’
The MAGA movement is becoming synonymous with violence.
Today, a man threatened to blow up a van right beside Capitol Hill, causing evacuations of the Capitol and many surrounding buildings. There is not a lot to go on as to the person who made the threat (inside the van) but the 49-year-old Floyd Roseberry did talk about a “revolution” on his social media account.
From CNBC:
The suspect surrendered and was taken into custody by police after an hourslong standoff outside the Library of Congress, where he claimed he had explosives in his truck.

In social media videos posted to Facebook, Roseberry repeatedly referenced a “revolution” and called on Biden to send someone to talk to him.
Outrageously, Representative Mo Brooks sympathized with Roseberry’s cause, implying that when one has a Democratic president, along with Congress, one can expect anger about “socialism”: (Reaction Below Tweet)

Outrageous. The reaction was swift and appropropriate. Again, from CNBC
The statement quickly drew heated criticism toward Brooks, who voted to overturn the election of President Joe Biden and is facing a lawsuit from Democratic Rep. Eric Swalwell of California, who accuses him of helping to incite the deadly Capitol invasion on Jan. 6.
“Tell us you stand with the terr*rist without telling us you stand with the terr*rist,” Swalwell wrote on Twitter in response to Brooks’ statement.
Rep. Adam Kinzinger, a Republican from Illinois, called Brooks’ statement “evil” in a Twitter post. Kinzinger was one of a handful of Republicans to vote for former President Donald Trump’s impeachment over the Capitol invasion.
Mo Brooks is the same person who was practically handed a statement to be read as a speech on January 6, he needs to be investigated, asap, and very thoroughly. He is not right, but Trump has endorsed his run to be the United States senator from Alabama.
