Americans Disgusted at Trump’s Behavior at Sept 11th Photo Op — Hints That He’s Running for President Again
Whether Trump will run again is near irrelevant at this point because even if he’s committed right now he can change his mind just as fast. He is not known for keeping his commitments. A lot can happen between now and 2024. We wish that a federal indictment was on the horizon, but we have been given no reason to believe that is the case.
Regardless, whether he does or doesn’t run again, Trump was always going to act like he’s running again because he wants the money. The more it looks like he intends to run again, the more money in his PAC, the more he can work to pay himself from that fund. He already pays $32,000 a month for office space in Trump tower, despite the fact that we’ve read that it goes mostly unused.
So, we can read the quote below confident that Trump is going to “act” like he’s running no matter what and even if he’s committed to it now, it means almost nothing because he can and will change his mind without telling people. But according to Axios:
Actually, for me, it’s an easy question. I know what I’m going to do,” Trump said in response to a police officer asking if he’d run again. He continued and said that he could not share his answer yet due to campaign finance laws. “I think you’re going to be happy,” he added of his decision.
“I think you’re going to be very happy,” Trump said when asked if he’d run for president again during a visit to the NYPD’s 17th Precinct to mark the 20th anniversary of #September11 pic.twitter.com/gnu41gNK9n

Yes, everybody will be happy if he runs again, he presumes. Notice, too, that Trump can make 9/11 primarily about him. Many people would have deferred. Of course, Trump “celebrated” 9/11 by going to a fire station rather than attend the actual memorial, which wouldn’t have been about him. The fire station visit was certainly about him.
Why go to something where he’s just another guy when he can pick his choice and be “the guy”?
Americans were absolutely disgusted:
Trump did NOT go to 9/11 ceremonies solo
Instead, he drummed up support at NYPD's 17th Precinct in East Midtown speaking on everything but 9/11
Another first: Trump was the only surviving president not to go to any of the 3 crash sites or the official 20th memorial ceremony pic.twitter.com/WvwTb1P1KK

You mean only one didnt think it was important to honor the thousands of lives lost, but went for a photo op with police instead, before he headed back down to Florida to host a boxing match. https://t.co/kDQv7D2MlE

Remember when Biden was visiting hurricane survivors *this week*, whereas Trump threw a roll of paper towels at Puerto Ricans (whom he wanted to sell) and took a sharpie to a national weather map?
Shove that sanctimonious bullshit up your ass. https://t.co/eklHTGStG3

Convicted felon Bernie Kerik weighs in to kiss Trump’s ass. Trump outright refused to attend the official commemoration of 9/11 today. Instead, he gave a speech attacking Biden and then promoting his own presidential campaign. Forget the 3,000 dead; today is about Trump. https://t.co/3drUrMui6T

Trump has lied saying he helped 1st responders on that day in 2001
And that's not his only lie about 9/11
He has no respect for any of the people who lost there lives and now he is using it for a photo ophttps://t.co/iidJxGS8sB https://t.co/024GBBTHwP— 🏳️🌈 Vallion N3M0 Goodall 🏳️⚧️ (@GoodallN3m0) September 11, 2021
True to form Trump took this moment to make it all about himself https://t.co/TpTFiaX93L

He's just pandering. Don't let that fool you. It's a ploy. He doesn't care. He's just trying to get attention. Those attending with Biden are paying homage to everyone. Trump is only paying homage to himself. https://t.co/WKtlhfGV7l

True to form: Former President Trump, in remarks to NYPD's 17th precinct (Trump Tower precinct) gets political on the 20th anniversary of Sept. 11 attacks: criticizes Afghanistan pullout, touts his talks with Taliban leader, hints he will run again.
