Oh, the MAGAs think they’re so clever.

No one, and we mean no one, hated Trump and his leadership more than those of us at this site and our very very loyal readers. He was the definition of the anti-president, favoring other countries over his own, if it was a portion that didn’t support him. But not in a million years would we take the time and energy to come up with some very cute little way of saying “F-You” to Trump and put it on t-shirts and sell it everywhere as our major platform. We preferred to investigate if he was selling the country out.

That’s not the MAGA way.

But now they’re in trouble because “Brandon” happens to be the Commander in Chief of the United States military and thus, “Let’s Go Brandon” – the “nice and very funny” way of saying F-You, has been sold in at least one military store and that means it was likely sold in others.

Ahead of the holidays, a vendor who had set up shop at a mall on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson was selling figurines with an overt political message deriding the commander-in-chief. The incident has prompted officials to update their guidance to vendors on what is — and isn’t — appropriate to sell on base.

The military is pretty good at blaming others. Apparently, they didn’t notice these figurines flying off their shelves.

The Army & Air Force Exchange Service is a kind of commercial broker within the Defense Department, overseeing goods and services sold at U.S. military installations. At bases around the globe, exchanges house everything from fast-food chains to barber shops to small merchants running concession stands selling products to soldiers, civilians and their families.

On JBER, the bear figurine seller had a short-term contract with the venue, and by the time officials looked into the item, the merchant had already closed up shop, according to Ward.

We don’t particularly care why they were there. We are far more concerned that this has become such a huge thing in MAGA world that they now consider it a core message. Once it gets into the military, where some don’t recognize Biden as legitimate as it is, there is a recipe for real trouble to come about.

This country is in a cold Civil War. The last thing we want is for the people with the big guns to pick sides so blatantly, so joyfully.
