Candace Owens Throws a Hissy Fit After Trump Humiliates Her With Pro-Vaccine Stance

Trump recently appeared on The Daily Wire where he did an interview with Candace Owens, and many were surprised to find out that despite her insistence as an anti-vaxxer, the former president declared the COVID-19 vaccine both safe and effective. The interview took place in his Mar-A-Lago estate on Sunday.

Shortly after the release of the interview, many people and news outlets clipped that particular discussion, including “The Daily Beast”, much to the dislike of Owens. She tweeted in response to the article they released, saying that their implication that Donald Trump had disagreed with her views were false and they both equally disliked the vaccine mandates.

After she put out that response, she then went on for several tweets in a continuing saga about why she believes the COVID-19 vaccine is unsafe, why she will not get one, and why she feels the need to share her anti-vaxx beliefs. In the interview, she acknowledged that Trump is pro-vaccination, but asked him how he felt about the vaccine mandates.

Trump took the opportunity to praise himself, and answered that he considers Operation Warp Speed, which allowed pharmaceutical companies to disregard certain regulations in order to get the vaccine produced faster, to be one of his administrations biggest achievements. Despite this, Owens still tried to insist that the vaccines may not be truly effective, saying that, “more people have died under COVID this year, by the way, under Joe Biden, than under you and more people took the vaccine this year.”

Surprisingly, Trump interrupted his interviewer to say, “Oh no, the vaccines work. […] People aren’t dying when they take the vaccine.” The former president’s answer is the main reason why this section of the interview has gone viral, as it is one of the rare times when progressives can agree with something Donald Trump has said more than the far right does.
