Candace Owens, a far-right talk show host, has been popping up all over media lately, and her most recent appearance was a Tweet in response to a few people on Twitter putting her name up to be the next Supreme Court Justice. It’s a laughable proposition, considering Owens went to school for journalism, not law, and she did not even finish getting her degree for that.

Owens tweeted that “America” wants her to be the next Supreme Justice, not realizing that only the most extremist conservatives, and the least educated about how the American Justice System operates, would ever hope for such a reality. The only reason her name came up is that Biden had declared an intent to nominate a black woman to take over Justice Beyer’s position when he retires. Still, there are plenty of people who meet those qualifications and the qualification of having a law degree.

Speculation can continue about whether or not Owens realizes just how ridiculous the idea of her on the Supreme Court is, but her Tweet boasting about the concept seems to be pretty serious. Still, the Tweet allowed many of those who know how absurd the idea was in the first place to respond accordingly.

Candace’s Tweet said it was an “honor” to be trending on Twitter because America wants her as a Justice. Well, America did want one uneducated reality TV star as their president, so anything is possible, but it turns out Supreme Court Justices have a higher bar to pass than the POTUS does.
