Chaos Erupts as Rudy Giuliani Unmasked as ‘Masked Singer’: Judges Walk Out and Twitter is on Fire
Why would any self-respecting show have Rudy on for any purpose at any point right now? Forget his involvement with Trump (if one can), momentarily, and just consider how bizarre the man acts whenever on camera of late. Even Fox refuses to have him on after admitting one should “lie” once in a while for the greater good (in a campaign context.)
Additionally, Rudy Giuliani is no longer “Mayor Rudy Giuliani, America’s mayor” who enjoys a semi-decent reputation. His persona has now been fully subsumed into Trump henchman and thus someone who should be presumed to be involved in possible criminal activities after the election. Presumably, this is why at least two judges walked out (this occurred during taping of the show, not live) upon seeing Rudy beneath the mask:
According to Deadline:
“Deadline hears that as soon as they saw Giuliani, judges Ken Jeong and Robin Thicke quickly left the stage in protest.
“Deadline hears that while Jeong and Thicke exited (they eventually returned), fellow judges Jenny McCarthy and Nicole Scherzinger remained onstage. They bantered with Giuliani, a controversial figure for pressing what is widely derided as a baseless claim that the 2020 presidential election was stolen from his client Donald Trump.

At least one producer of the show will – quite obviously – be fired over this, in our opinion. The judgment shown in having such a politically and perhaps criminally controversial person, someone having no discernible talent (No one at this site has any idea as to what the show entails) clearly indicates that whoever came up with the idea and authorized it, doesn’t have the judgment needed to oversee a national network show.
The. Net. Went. Fuuuu nuts:
People who tried to steal the election should not be celebrated or normalized on national TV shows.
The Masked Singer made a huge mistake having Rudy Giuliani on.
Disgusting.

Imagine deciding that it was time to laundry the image of one Rudy Giuliani by making him the masked singer.

The Masked Singer has no business allowing Rudy Giuliani on the air. He’s not a “controversial figure.” He’s under federal criminal investigation for seditious conspiracy against the United States. He’s a terrorist. Props to Ken Jeong and Robin Thicke for walking out in protest.

What moron decided it was a good idea to have Rudy Giuliani appear as a contestant on The Masked Singer?

With Rudy in the news re The Masked Singer, it's a good time to remind you fine folks that he was hard at work in Georgia contesting the election results in 2020, with "claims [that] were false, misleading or lacking actual evidence" per local reporter @stphnfwlr… I was there! https://t.co/qlLRoCbvQk
