MAGA Sen. Ron Johnson Blames Pelosi, Schiff and Alexander Vindman for Ukrainian Invasion

The staff here is working on a theory, we’re not ready to call it a prediction, but it’s a theory and it is plausible. It took a completely selfish, reckless, and fascist act to unite the decent people of the world behind Ukraine, from Russian citizens, to NATO, to the U.N., to most Americans, and – of course, Ukrainians. Perhaps that exact same act will serve to show that the MAGAs truly are interlocked and owned by Vladimir Putin. It is not just Trump, it is well over half the GOP.

If Putin overreached, based on vanity, based on underestimating his opponent, based on overestimating his power, the entire matter could take Putin down, either literally, or at least seen as a fraction of his former “all-powerful self,” and that could easily take down the MAGAs that held Putin up above criticism. It is a theory we’re toying with.

Incidents like this, assertions like this below, help. They scream out that Putin owns the MAGAs and the MAGAs are isolated as the only real political party backing Putin in this war, albeit indirectly. According to the single most pro-Putin Senator, Ron Johnson:

“I do not think Vladimir Putin would have moved on Ukraine if it were not for the weakness displayed certainly by the Biden administration, but also by the west in general.

Putin didn’t need to invade anyone when Trump was president. He got whatever he wanted from the United States by simply asking.

“And I’m certainly hoping that Vindman, Adam Schiff, Nancy Pelosi, who used Ukraine as a pawn in their impeachment travesty, are also recognizing and reflecting they weakened Ukraine.

Trump blocked weapons going to Ukraine because Zelensky wouldn’t do that “favor” in hurting Biden.

“They weakened the west, weakened America by the divisive politics that they play. There’s much blame to go around.” – Sen. Ron Johnson, today on Maria Bartiromo’s Fox Business show.

These people had an uprising on January 6th and brought in fake electors. To this day, they maintain that the 2020 election was rigged. And yet he talks about Democrats as divisive. Adam Schiff would like to retort:

Note that Ron Johnson did not call out Putin. He did not say, Putin needs to get out, now. (Showing some of that Republican strength he says is missing on the Democratic side). Indeed, he acts as if Putin had no choice but to invade given the administration’s “weakness.”

What if Ukraine, through grit and determination, wins in the long run? What if the sanctions really do wear Russia down and they withdraw? Biden will look like a master statesman, Trump will look like a dupe on the side of the monster, curiously – all of them, the only slice of the world on the side of the monster.
