Marjorie Taylor Greene Says She Might Run for President After Alex Jones Suggests It, ‘Better Chance Than Trump!’

Marjorie Taylor Greene, who is by far the most extremist far-right U.S. Representative in the US, unsurprisingly interviewed with conspiracy theorist Alex Jones on his infamous show Info Wars. During her appearance, she appeared keen on the idea of running for president in the future. The idea was brought up by the show’s host, who was very insistent that she would make an excellent presidential candidate.

Jones even went as far as to say that Greene would have “a better chance at winning than even Trump.” She seemed to accept the idea somewhat when he directly asked her, “Can we get you to run for president in the next few years?” He also proposed running with DeSantis as her Vice Presidential candidate, despite DeSantis polling much, much higher for a potential 2024 presidential run than Greene.

Greene’s initial reaction was to reiterate that she is a strong supporter of Trump, as if anyone had forgotten, but she looked like she was all smiling at the idea of her own run. She went on to say that “in the future we’ll definitely see what happens, we’ll see what the people think about something like that.”

Greene’s potential fun for the Oval Office was not all the pair talked about, with the rest of the interview mostly taken up by perpetuation of conspiracy theories such as election fraud and anti-vaccination propaganda. Greene called vaccine mandates a “purge” and claimed that they forced the brave men who defended this country to abandon their positions.

Even more outlandish was her acknowledgment of a comparison that likened Dr. Anthony Fauci to the “Angel of Death” Nazi Josef Mengele. This came about during their discussion of gain of function research. The two discussed another conspiracy that Dr. Fauci funded the research that made the Coronavirus and somehow got released from the lab.
