Now’s Your Chance to Get a Photo With Trump and a Room at Mar-a-Lago, But It Will Cost You…A LOT!

Former President Donald Trump’s Political Action Committee (PAC) is doing another fundraiser, this time a candidate forum for congressional candidates, asking for ridiculous sums of money, such as the option to pay $250,000 to eat with Trump and (maybe) get to pay for a room in Mar-a-Lago. This is one of the many different choices for those who attend the event hosted by the group, called “Make America Great Again, Again” on February 23rd.

Attending the event costs $3,000, or $5,000 for couples. Then, those attending can upgrade with different privileges depending on how much they are willing to spend. These strategies must be working for them because the group reported over $9 million in donations at the end of 2021. Over a million of that total came from two big supporters: Tranquil Path Investments, LTD, in Texas and ML Organization, LLC in Florida.

Despite all the funds being raised to support Donald Trump, Maggie Haberman of the New York Times noted that while he has made 93 verbal endorsements, Trump has not given financial backing to any congressional candidates. Haberman said that “Trump is spending almost no money on other R’s so far.”

Lucky for Donald Trump, he gets all the financial endorsement he needs from those willing to spend thousands of dollars to attend his events or even a quarter of a million to sleep in his house. As Haberman pointed out, however, even though Trump does not want to give money to other congressional candidates, he is happy to use those candidates to make himself more money.

Another notable aspect of this fundraiser is that only the first ten couples who donate the $250,000 will get to buy a room at Mar-A-Lago (and yes, they still have to buy it after that sizable donation). If this venture goes as well as the last few financial experiences the Trump family have embarked on, they may not get ten people willing to donate that high, anyway.

And I didn’t realize, the $250K doesn’t even get you the room, just the option to rent it for the night,

Ever classy, that Trump.
