Clarence Thomas Hospitalized with ‘Flu-Like Symptoms’ Since Friday Night

We don’t cheer for deaths. We do cheer for openings on the court and we do want Thomas impeached. We will leave it at that as we report that CNN has just reported that Clarence Thomas was hospitalized Friday night with “flu-like” symptoms.

This is odd. Within five minutes, our medical system has the ability to test for the flu and the ability to test for COVID. If Thomas is preventing the information from getting out (whatever it may be, why not just say “hospital”?).

According to CNN:

“He underwent tests, was diagnosed with an infection, and is being treated with intravenous antibiotics,” the court’s press release said. “His symptoms are abating, he is resting comfortably, and he expects to be released from the hospital in a day or two. Justice Thomas will participate in the consideration and discussion of any cases for which he is not present on the basis of the briefs, transcripts, and audio of the oral arguments.”

We are not doctors, but antibiotics don’t seem to fit with COVID and we seriously doubt that he eschewed the vaccine.

Thomas’ hospitalization comes as the justices, all of whom are vaccinated and boosted against Covid-19, are expected to take the bench Monday morning for arguments.

He is not a young buck, but it is far more important to note that there is a serious investigation going on and Ginni is caught up in the middle of it. She was a significant asset to the Trump White House when he “purged” the White House of anyone deemed insufficiently loyal. Thomas has given talks at reliably conservative gatherings, that should be plenty to impeach him, especially if she committed a crime in organizing the rally and having knowledge as to what might’ve been planned afterward.
