‘I’m So Mad!’ Fox Host Throws Hissy Fit Because Biden’s Approval Numbers are Increasing Amid Ukraine Crisis

Presidential approval numbers often have exactly nothing to do with how the president is actually doing. We could point to Trump’s relatively high numbers during COVID and relatively low numbers at other times when things were working a little better. We can point to the fact that Biden’s low approval ratings went down due to inflation, but inflation is global and based almost completely on oil. Oil is a global commodity and if the U.S. increases production, it could just as easily go to Australia, whoever will give them the highest price.

Sometimes numbers do reflect some presidential accomplishments. Biden’s ratings were artificially low because of inflation and now they’re becoming genuinely higher because he led the world on the sanction effort that is crippling Russia while keeping us out of the way.

That’s not tolerated at Fox News:

“Why didn’t you act sooner?” she said, quoting Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. “I say that because Democrats right now are very ecstatic over what they see as poll numbers inching up for Joe Biden.”

She then quoted Chris Cilliza of CNN:

“[CNN contributor] Chris Cillizza said now there is an opportunity for a Biden comeback,” the Fox News host continued. “They are looking at it as a political opportunity to somehow show this wartime president. We didn’t need a wartime president. We got one because he was so weak!”

Which makes no sense because, evidently, we did need a wartime president and he’s been damned strong about it. The reports are Russia’s economy is crippled and not every European country wanted in on those sanctions, he held them together.

And ANY president after Trump would appear “weak” because they’d act like a normal president instead of one that goes around taking no responsibility, pounding his chest, talking about being strong.

Campos-Duffy: “I’m sorry. I know you guys are focusing on all the troop movements. I’m just so mad that we’re in this situation!”

First and most important “we” are not in this situation. The Ukrainian people are in “this” situation, stop making yourself the center of the Earth. Second, let’s address her original complaint, why didn’t we get into this sooner.

As we recall, Biden was talking to Putin weekly for the last month and has been supplying Ukraine with weapons for months (with no conditions). She needs to come clean. She is mad because Biden is gaining just a few approval points, which means nothing, they go up and down with the world.
