Trump Issues Insane Statement: ‘NYT Just Admitted They Helped Rig the Election for Joe Biden!’

Donald Trump just issued the following statement: (Tweet at bottom)

The New York Times just admitted that it participated in an effort to rig the election for Joe Biden. Read the article in the New York Post here.

It is pretty easy for one to infer that something is a bit amiss when you say that the New York Times just admitted something and instead of linking your statement to the New York Times, you link to an article in one of its archrivals, the New York Post, that is rabidly pro-Trump.

And how does the Post say that the NYT admitted that it helped “rig” the election for Joe Biden? Because the Times now confirms that Hunter Biden did leave his laptop at a Delaware repair shop, whereas before it had reported that it might have been Russian disinformation. And why is Hunter’s laptop the key to how and why Joe Biden is president? What devastating information is on the laptop? What is the laptop hiding that would have kept Biden out of the White House?

The Post never really gets around to telling us and the article is written in such a snarky tone that one gets the sense that the Post thinks the most important element of the story is that they knew the “laptop existed” while the Times doubted it. First, the Post quotes the NYT:

“People familiar with the investigation said prosecutors had examined emails between [HUNTER] Mr. Biden, Mr. Archer and others about Burisma and other foreign business activity,” the Times writes. “Those emails were obtained by The New York Times from a cache of files that appears to have come from a laptop abandoned by Mr. Biden in a Delaware repair shop. The email and others in the cache were authenticated by people familiar with them and with the investigation.”

Then the Post congratulates itself:

Authenticated!!! You don’t say. You mean, when a newspaper actually does reporting on a topic and doesn’t just try to whitewash coverage for Joe Biden, it discovers it’s actually true?

But wait, it doesn’t end there. In October 2020, the Times cast doubt that there was a meeting between Joe Biden and an official from Burisma, the Ukrainian gas company for which Hunter was a board member.  “A Biden campaign spokesman said Mr. Biden’s official schedules did not show a meeting between the two men,” the Times wrote, acting as a perfect stenographer.

YES, okay – but what is on the laptop that would hurt Joe Biden, what would have kept him out of the White House? Or, what came out of the mysterious dinner, if it happened? The closest that Post gets to telling us is:

Now we’re 16 months away from the 2020 election, Joe Biden’s safely in the White House, and the Times finally decides to report on the news rather than carry the Biden campaign’s water. And they find that hey, Hunter Biden’s business interests benefited from Joe Biden’s political status to a suspicious degree. Perhaps this is a topic worthy of examination.

Um, we all knew that. Hunter Biden admitted in a CBS 60 Minutes interview that he would not have had his position on the Board of Burisma had his dad not been vice-president of the United States. Democrats have consistently said that Hunter has been a pain in the ass and involved in way too much built upon his last name only. But literally, “business interests benefited from Joe Biden’s political status to a suspicious degree” is it – that’s what they have on Joe Biden. Nothing.

Perhaps that is why the article is STUFFED with the most unflattering pictures of Hunter in existence.

But just because Hunter’s laptop is “real” doesn’t mean there isn’t a shitload of Russian disinformation flying everywhere. Remember which country has twice now “helped” Trump in his presidential elections? It is interesting that Trump construes the NYT admitting a story it had doubted as admitting it helped “rig” the election because it’s coming from a man who narrowly won an election in which Russia did all it could to help Trump win.

So, in other words, Trump lied and we still don’t know why Hunter’s laptop is an issue.
