One of the darkest elements of the entire MAGA movement is the racism and anti-Semitism which was apparent from the beginning but intensified at a horrific rate throughout Trump’s tenure. The white-nationalist nazism is now one of the hallmarks of the MAGA fury over what they see as their literal birthright, the presidency. Madison Cawthorn’s own pouty message after losing called upon “Gentile” Dark MAGA. We have said we won’t buy into their cartoon framing “dark” anything. IUt is Nazism. Plain and simple.  And Timothy Hale-Cusanelli embodies this open Nazism as well as anyone.

Thankfully, he’s off to jail.

A New Jersey man with alleged Nazi sympathies who stormed the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, tried and failed to convince a jury this week that he didn’t know the Capitol building is where Congress meets. Yes, he basically claimed he was an idiot and thought it would gain him sympathy.

Timothy Hale-Cusanelli, who was in the U.S. Army Reserves when he stormed the Capitol, was convicted Friday on all five counts he faced, including a felony charge of obstruction of an official proceeding.

Hale-Cusanelli, who has been in jail since Feb. 2021, did not dispute that he entered the Capitol on Jan. 6, and his defense lawyer explicitly admitted that Hale-Cusanelli engaged in criminal activity that day.

Yes, “alleged.” When you walk around intentionally looking as much like Hitler as possible, one must prove one is not a Nazi or it will be presumed. Nazi Tim here couldn’t prove anything. He played stupid and fooled no one. He is well aware of what he’s doing and the signal he’s sending.
