MAGAs Accuse Karine Jean-Pierre of Wearing One of Ivanka’s Dress Designs During Her First Week on the Job

Okay MAGAs, give me a freaking break.

Trump supporters are accusing Biden’s new press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre of wearing a dress designed by Ivanka Trump.

MAGA Twitter is going nuts after Jean-Pierre – who became the White House press secretary on May 13 following the departure of Jen Psaki – was spotted wearing a dress that looked similar to a dress Ivanka “designed” years ago for her now defunct clothing line.

White House press assistant Megha Bhattacharya shared a photo of Jean-Pierre in the dress on Twitter, while celebrating her new position, writing, “Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre has a nice ring to it.” And yes, it certainly does!

People quickly noted that it looked almost identical to a dress that Ivanka designed back when she was a “clothing designer”.

So, let’s look at this.

First, the tweet with the dress:

Beautiful! And Jean-Pierre is 47 and as a 52-year-old woman, I am super jealous and super impressed!

Here is the dress that MAGA Twitter is accusing Karine of wearing:

Are they similar? Yes, very. But it is NOT the same dress. Let’s be real. Does anyone think that Jean-Pierre would actually wear a dress by Ivanka Trump? Seriously? And the dress by Ivanka is probably 5+ years old, and isn’t available anymore. Ivanka shuttered her companies soon after going to work in the White House. It might be available on the secondary market somewhere, but I highly doubt Jean-Pierre is shopping on Poshmark for her clothes. That style of dress is very common. As is the cut and the color. I’ve seen similar dresses by Calvin Klein, Michael Kors, and others.

Let’s look up close at the top where the cut-outs are, it’s obvious they aren’t the same:

And here is Jean-Pierre’s:

They simply aren’t the same. Plus, Ivanka Trump was well known for stealing the designs of other designers. She even settled with other designers over her theft.

Even Donald Trump Jr. gloated about it, which of course he did…he’s the worst.
