Marjorie Taylor Greene Calls a ‘Petri Dish’ a ‘Peach Tree Dish’ and Twitter is Howling With Laughter

Oh dear, she did it again. First we had the gazpacho police. Now Marjorie Taylor Greene has made another absolutely hysterical flub in an attempt to look smart and get her latest conspiratorial claim about Democrats and “fake meat” across, which she says is manufactured in a “peach tree dish.” I know, it’s as crazy as it sounds…bear with me.

But first, PEACH TREE DISH! Is that a special dish made in Georgia?

On her most recent broadcast of “MTG Live,” Marj’s little video show she posts on her social media pages, Greene claimed that the government wants “surveillance on every part of your life, including on when people are eating a cheeseburger.” LOL, that’s not true, but whatever, it’s Marj.

“Which is very bad because Bill Gates wants you to eat this fake meat that grows in a peach tree dish so you’ll probably get a little zap inside your body that’ll say ‘No, don’t eat a real cheeseburger, you need to eat the fake burger,’” Greene said.

Now, I have no idea where the hell she was going with this cheeseburger conspiracy theory. Seriously, the woman is nuts and we are all better off if we just ignore her tin foil hat beliefs. But it was the “peach tree dish” flub that had everyone howling.

Of course, her “peach tree” flub immediately had her critics pointing out that it is indeed a petri dish — the little shallow glass dish that scientists use to grow cells – and not a peach tree dish.

Twitter had an absolute field day with this one:
