Trump Desperately Wants You to See ‘2000 Mules’, the ‘Most Important Political Documentary Ever Made — Twitter in Hysterics
Those of you with real lives, cheering on kids/grandkids soccer or swim meets, going to book club, going on dates with spouses or your new catch, all that stuff that doesn’t involve political writing, might have no idea what “2000 Mules” might be about other than maybe some foul smells and 2000 goofballs that are kinda loving and cute, not beautiful like a horse, not as smart as a donkey, can’t have their own kids, but lovable, nonetheless.
Yeah, but no. The “2000 Mules” that Trump talks about in his statement today isn’t loveable at all. Trump is referencing a new movie, 2000 Mules, put out by Dinesh D’Souza who knows how to spin a buck and a ready audience. He knows that the 2020 election was stolen and he’s going to prove it. He is better than the FBI. (He is also an ex-felon, having violated campaign donation laws but – of course – he was giving to Republicans and so Trump pardoned him.)
As you might guess, the movie has been roundly criticized as, well, WRONG: As just one article from the Atlanta Journal-Constitution:
While it’s possible that some of the alleged perpetrators shown in the movie actually committed a crime, video surveillance of drop boxes alone doesn’t prove anything. Voters might have been delivering ballots for their relatives, which is allowed.
Even if there were a ballot harvesting scheme, it wouldn’t invalidate legitimate ballots just because they were turned in by unauthorized individuals. Verified ballots of registered voters still count, regardless of how they were delivered.

Election investigators have reviewed several videos included in “2000 Mules” and found no illegal behavior, including a video that showed a Gwinnett County man inserting ballots into a drop box, according to the secretary of state’s office.
But to Trump, it’s the most important movie ever made:
NEW!
President Donald J. Trump:
“"2000 Mules" is now available for digital download. Every American must see this movie. It's the most important political documentary ever made, because it reveals with irrefutable proof what really happened in the 2020 Election. The film is… pic.twitter.com/8zLP1qD7Db

Meanwhile, the net was very amused:
How awful is 2000 Mules?
It turns out that D’Souza’s bat-shit crazy conspiracy theory about the election is too crazy even for… Tucker Carlson. And Newsmax.https://t.co/CoSxpjcK1a

Things aren't going well for pro-Trump pundit Dinesh D'Souza's debunked voter fraud movie 2000 Mules, which not even Newsmax or Fox News' Tucker Carlson want to promote.

Donald how much did you charge Dinesh for his pardon? Are you getting a cut from the movie?

If you have actual proof of election fraud, you present it in court. Kinda like the FBI did with D’Souza. The only reason he’s not in prison for election fraud is that you pardoned him.

A bull shit conspiracy made up by a guy you pardoned and should be in jail! Ya think this is pay back for your pardon!!

Oh, you mean the film released by a convicted felon which was based on faulty assumptions, anonymous accounts and improper analysis of cellphone location data? The film offers not one single stitch or proof! None whatsoever. Zilch. Nada.
