Arizona Rep. Andy Biggs is in BIG Trouble: Direct Testimony He Asked AZ Official Decertify Electors

One of the most shocking elements of the testimony given today to the House Select Committee came from Arizona House Speaker Rusty Bowers whose powerful testimony has already been covered today by this site. A portion of Bowers’s testimony may well be strong enough to put a current congressman, Andy Biggs in prison. Bowers testified that on the morning of January 6th, Biggs called Bowers and asked Bowers to decertify the Arizona election. To the extent that any fraud or conspiracy is prosecuted over the fake electors scheme, Andy Biggs is now assured that he will be a co-conspirator. From The Hill:

Rusty Bowers, the Republican Speaker of the Arizona House of Representatives, said that Rep. Andy Biggs (R-Ariz.), the former chair of the House Freedom Caucus, called him on the morning of Jan. 6 asking him to support the decertification of electors.

“He asked if I would sign on both to a letter that had been sent from my state, and/or that I would support the decertification of the electors,” Bowers said at a Jan. 6 Select Committee hearing on Tuesday. “I said I would not,” Bowers added.

There was a great deal of talk on Twitter about the power of Bower’s testimony and its impact on Andy Biggs.

Yes, we heard today from Cassidy Hutchinson, Mark Meadows’s aide that she knew of several congressmen involved in the fake elector scheme. It would seem as though Andy Biggs’ just dropped his name in the hat as one of those involved.
