Louis Gohmert is Incredibly Upset Because Republicans ‘Can’t Even Lie to the FBI or They’re Coming After You!’
Louis Gohmert ate a good breakfast, fastened his tool belt, put his hard hat on, and was ready to work today.
Gohmert doesn’t do things halfway. Charged with being the stupidest man to ever serve in the United States Congress necessarily comes with certain expectations and responsibilities. He holds the type of position where one cannot afford a day off. So many candidates want that title, someone is always there, waiting to see a wrinkle, a weakness, an opening. To play at Louis’ level, you have to be ready to take risks. You have to be the one guy in the room brave enough to state the obvious, no matter how fcking stupid it may be.
Yes, today, Louis Gohmert again showed why he can take on all these newcomers. Leaning on years of experience, Gohmert grabbed the goblet of truth, wiped his lips, and commented on Navarro’s indictment by saying:
“It actually puts an exclamation point on the fact that we have a two-tiered justice system. If you’re a Republican, you can’t even lie to Congress or lie to an FBI agent or they’re coming after you. They’re gonna bury you, they’re gonna put in a DC jail and terrorize you and torture you and not live up to the Constitution.” – Loony Louie Gohmert, responding to Peter Navarro being charged with contempt of Congress. Gohmert later agrees with a Newsmax host that it’s “no big deal to lie to the FBI.”

Yeah.
Well, there is a two-tiered system, no doubt about that. When you are protecting the single most corrupt president in American history and you’re on the side that has to defend him, you’re going to be expected to do a lot of lying and hiding. That really wouldn’t be fair if it was the only option. But it’s actually not the only option.
They could – in theory – choose not to support Donald Trump and thus join the other tier. But if you are trying to defend Trump while also being stupid, you will end up committing a crime at some point. That’s not genius insight, it’s a simple fact, which is why Louis doesn’t get it.
As you can imagine…

Hey shithead, you can’t lie to a Federal Agent if you are a Democrat, or any other citizen for that matter, either. Who elects these these brother-kissing traitors to Congress? https://t.co/sXYQvc8re2

Sad that one can't obstruct justice or participate in a cover-up anymore without consequences. What is this world coming to. 🙄 https://t.co/uEDBEiVlh3
