Charlie Kirk Tells Republicans to Defy the Federal Government and Basically Secede: ‘They Betrayed Us’

If you do not think that something very dark and, more likely than not, violent is in this country’s near future, you haven’t been listening to the average MAGA. They are so deeply disturbed and angry that white people are about to become a minority that they’re more than willing to simply destroy the United States as it is and takeover their way.

Charlie Kirk was one of the primary players in getting buses up to January 6th. It is hard to believe that he didn’t know why he was doing it. Now he’s essentially saying that MAGAs don’t need a federal government that they don’t control (They definitely need it when they do control it.) He is advocating exactly what the South advocated just prior to the Civil War:

“Why don’t we go do it? Why don’t we go make red states energy independent? Why do we need Saudi Arabia? Why do you need the federal government? Why do you need the EPA? Why do you need the Department of Energy? No, no. What’s the reason? Oh, because it’s against their rules. They break the rules every day. How are they going to enforce them exactly? Who created the federal government? Who’s in charge?

Other people call the rules “laws” and the “Constitution.” When do Democrats break the law every day? The founders created the federal government, and President Biden is in charge.

That’s the problem. Kirk goes on:

“You can do anything you want as long as it’s in the pursuit of goodness and virtue and truth if you have the political will to do it. Now, you might say, ‘Well, Charlie, whose truth?’ Thanks for asking the question, subjective person who graduated from college. There’s only one truth. You might have one experience. You might have different experiences, I should say.”

He answered his own question. There is factual truth. They ignore it.

“But it’s not going to solve itself by shuffling around cards. And this is something that’s so interesting, is that the Republicans in DC are so afraid of what they’re actually creating. The Republicans were like, well, this is going to tear the country apart. No, no, no. You doing nothing will tear the country apart. You want to reinvigorate the country? Action, boldness.”

January 6th was very active and bold and tore the country apart. He seems to want more.

“I know this sounds controversial, but peaceful and constitutional defiance of the federal government will actually strengthen the nation. If the federal government does not faithfully execute the laws, if the federal government is starving its citizens, what do you do? Oh, you wait for the next election? No.”

There is no constitutional defiance of the federal government, at least not how he’s describing it. The rest is gibberish. The bottom line is he’s arguing that no one should follow the federal government if it isn’t led by Republicans. It’s an argument for secession. And it’s going to get worse.
