CNN May Have Just Ended Herschel Walker’s Campaign: Caught as ‘Partner’ to Notorious Ponzi Scheme
As we said in a report yesterday regarding Georgia being Donald Trump’s “Waterloo,” everything Trump has done that involved Georgia has turned out as awful as it rightly should, and Herschel Walker has carried on that tradition winningly. Because Trump is Trump, he gave Walker his endorsement without asking questions you would ask in hiring an assistant manager at Autozone. Just basic stuff like “How many kids has he fathered and neglected?” “Has Hershel ever beaten his wife?” and “Did Hershel Walker ever partner up in a huge notorious ponzi-scheme marketing company to the extent that he could never win office?”
CNN caught that last one and it’s almost disqualifying:
Georgia Republican Senate nominee Herschel Walker was once a “partner” and “spokesman” for a subsidiary of an energy company, Just Energy, which was repeatedly targeted by states’ attorneys general and utility agencies over allegedly deceptive practices.
Walker, the former football player turned businessman, and his technology company 34 Technologies in 2012 partnered with Momentis, a multi-level marketing subsidiary of Just Energy, to sell an online marketing service.

Walker spoke at a Momentis convention about M-Marketing Systems in 2012, where the CEO of Momentis Andy McWilliams described Walker as a “partner” in the company. “We obviously want you to know that Herschel is not just somebody we brought up on stage,” McWilliams said. “He is a partner in Momentis.”
Well, that’s good to know, perhaps one of the few times someone from the company told the truth. This type of sophisticated white-collar crime or regulatory issue should be prohibitive for a candidate:
Walker was a "partner" and "spokesman" for Momentis — the MLM arm of Just Energy. They've paid millions over the years for their practices. Momentis was established to sell Just Energy's product in 2010. Walker partnered with them in 2012. https://t.co/aIdrsvulhp
