Do you have any idea how cold the world would get if the carbon dioxide in the atmosphere went down to zero? I don’t know either because it would mess a lot of things up. Every plant and most bacteria would die, which would quickly lead to the depletion of all oxygen in the atmosphere, leaving a lot of nitrogen and some water. In fairly short order, nearly every living thing would go extinct. That is not the goal of the Green New Deal.

I am not a climatologist, nor do I specialize in bio-astronomy. I did have biology in high school, which is apparently more than Marjorie Taylor-Greene can claim. Marj did provide yet another good lesson, though. If you are going to call someone else stupid, you probably want to get your facts straight afterward. Marj couldn’t do it and she humiliated herself in the process.

First of all, we see Marj talking to some huge audience like some kind of “forum,” and that’s important because as near as we can tell, between Fox News, CPAC Reno, Turning Point USA Macon, and whatever Marj attended, the MAGA political movement is more and more just another warped form of entertainment to these people. Someone is making a lot of money.

Marj says that AOC is less intelligent than a kindergartener, it’s Marj’s stand-up routine, she gives people time to laugh. She then notes that the Green New Deal is stupid because the Democrats want to take carbon down to zero and that’s ridiculous because plants and grass love carbon. Actually “carbon” does fck all for plants, they much prefer carbon dioxide to drive photosynthesis, and no, we don’t want to take carbon dioxide down to zero, we merely want to keep it down from under 400 plus parts per million because it was less than 300 prior to the industrial revolution when we began putting it in the air. Another thing plants love is water and a warming globe will leave deserts that much arider.

Wet areas will be wetter, dry areas will be drier. Picture Colorado becoming more like the Mojave desert and all of Southern California more like Saudi Arabia and you’ll get the idea. There are not a lot of plants in Suadi Arabia.

Anyway, when calling someone else stupid, it’s pretty stupid to say really stupid sh*t.
