Right-Wing Troll Demands Petsmart Employees Remove Their Pride Flag — Manager Saves the Day

When a right-wing homophobic YouTuber barged into a Petsmart to demand that employees remove a Pride Flag on display in their store, the employees weren’t having it.

Ethan Schmidt-Crockett likes to call himself an “authoritarian Christian nationalist. The Arizona native is notorious for his hate-filled rantings on social media that include threats to “hunt” down LGBTQ people, Queerty reports. And thus, we have this recent video showing him in Petsmart trying to push employees to remove a Pride flag.

In the video, we see Schmidt-Crockett asking a cashier what the rainbow flag near her checkout stand means.

“I’m just curious, what is that flag right there?” he asks.

“I think it’s a pride flag,” she responds.

He asks her to remove it “because it offends me greatly.”

So the clerk quickly calls for the manager to come over and as she does that Schmidt-Crockett says, “That stuff is satanic. We can’t have that, especially at Petsmart.”

Then the manager shows up and Schmidt-Crockett repeats the same nonsense — that he’s offended and wants the flag taken down. But fortunately, the manager isn’t going to let him have his way. He tells Schmidt-Crockett that Petsmart supports “belonging, which includes LGBTQ.”

And at that point the homophobic troll went into his usual schtick:

“You support pedophilia and child sexualization,” Schmidt-Crockett says, “because that’s what that stands for now.” He repeats his demands that the flag be taken down but the manage shakes his head and tells him, “We aren’t going to.”

Because he’s a nasty waste of human breath, Schmidt keeps it up, continuing to call the Pride flag “the rainbow of Satan. The real rainbow is from God.” By now the employees are fed up and they ask him to leave the store.

But of course, as these people always are, Schmidt-Crockett stubbornly remains. So that’s when another member of staff is called and he is definitely not willing to put up with this bigot’s cruelty.

“All right, you gotta go bud. Come on we don’t need it here,” he said. “We’re gonna have the pride flag up. We have it all over our store,” he says while ushering the obnoxious homophobe out of the store.

“Shame on Petco,” Schmidt-Crocket said in an apart brain fart (I’m sure he has many) and one employee can’t resist correcting him: “This is PetSmart.”

But this isn’t an isolated incident for Schmidt. In the last few months, he’s been doing things like posting a video shrilly criticizing Target for having Pride-related displays and has threatened to “hunt” LGBTQ activists around Phoenix, Arizona during Pride Month. He posted the video in May and said:

“I also like to hunt LGBTQ supporters on my free time. That’s one of my favorite pastimes…. We’re going to be going on hunting expeditions pretty soon, y’know, hunting LGBT supporters across Phoenix and Arizona…. If you support the LGBT agenda, you’re not safe,” he said.

This man is a real creep and I hope authorities are monitoring him because to me, he sounds dangerous. Oh, and apparently he supports, Kari Lake, a Republican nutball who’s running for Governor in the 2022 midterms.

Yup. Sounds about right.
