Biden Mocks MAGAs Who Believe They Need Assault Weapons to Fight the Govt : ‘You’ll Need an F-15…Something More Than a Gun!’

One of the single most beguiling things about the 2nd Amendment and the Founding Fathers is their very intentional vague drafting of the Second Amendment. Let’s compare because the Founders knew how to write a clear portion of the Bill of Rights.

Here is the First Amendment:

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

Even I can understand that one despite an entire semester in law school studying the First Amendment (which confuses it).

Now let’s compare the Second Amendment:

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

Despite the fact that the SCOTUS has largely written off the first clause (which is generally considered the most important portion of an Amendment. Notice in the First Amendment, “Congress shall make no law…” The Founding Fathers clearly had the ability to write: “The Right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.” By itself, no introduction. And yet they did write an introduction about a “well-regulated” militia…

We have well-regulated militias. They are called “The National Guard.” And yet an 18-year-old can buy a military machine of war – an AR-15 rifle, specifically designed to kill as many people as possible from down range, to help a soldier under attack. If your town has more than 2500 people, chances are there is a store in town that’ll sell this weapon of war. None of us can appreciate just how insane this sounds to people of any other self-respecting country on Earth. And many of the gunnerz (think Lauren Boebert, who has a clear erotic relationship with her guns) believe that their right to bear arms keeps the government from controlling them.

Lauren and her AR-15 are going to keep the U.S. government in line?

Not to get too graphic but the U.S. government has a submarine somewhere in the Indian Ocean right now that can launch an ICBM (Non-nuclear) that can hit Lauren Boebert’s bedroom window. And that puts an end to her argument and her erotic relationship with guns, as Joe Biden angrily said today in defending a ban on the AR-15, “baby killers.” From the Washington Times:

President Biden pushed back against opponents of his proposed assault weapons ban on Tuesday saying “right-wing” Americans would need “an F-15” to “fight against the country,” in remarks meant to convey there are limits to Second Amendment right.

“You can’t go out and buy an automatic weapon,” Mr. Biden said. “You can’t go out and buy a cannon.”

“And for those brave rightwing Americans who say, ‘it’s all about keeping America … independent and safe’,” he said, “If you want to fight against the country, you need an F-15, you need something a little more than a gun.”

It is not our job to inform the president, but the MAGAs can get 200 F-15s, but if they cannot talk through Defense Department Satellites or use Defense Department GPS, they aren’t much more than planes that fly really fast and can shoot bullets. Meanwhile, that submarine stands ready…
