John Bolton made his point. We are infinitely safer as a nation under Joe Biden than we were under Donald Trump, and Bolton wasn’t even pointing to the fact that Trump may (“MAY”) have been selling our nuclear secrets to the Saudis or Russians. Bolton doesn’t even need that argument.

No, Bolton primarily pointed to two key facts that can almost not be argued. First, Bolton said that Trump was entirely transactional and had no principles upon which to base U.S. global strategy. That is certainly true. Reagan had “peace through strength.” Bush had the “Bush doctrine,” which was that we weren’t going to wait to be attacked anymore. We would wage offensive war. Obama had the “Anti-Bush doctrine,” that the U.S. had to be a force for peace in the world and engage our adversaries, make deals that keep the world safer – the Iranian deal, (Obama’s approach to the world got him the Nobel Peace Prize), and Trump had… “What have you done for me?”

Second, Bolton pointed out, quite correctly, that Trump lacked the capacity to understand the world as it stood with respect to security. That is not the world’s worst sin. Most of us wouldn’t understand complex global security considerations. But most of us would listen and learn from the hundreds of people that make up the country’s National Security Counsel, a group of people who have decades of experience, specializing in certain regions, the tensions between India and Pakistan, as an example. We would learn and listen. Trump was incapable of learning and listening and wouldn’t care what they said if he did.

Of course, we are safer under Joe Biden, and even a Republican like John Bolton can make that case. But when he does it on Newsmax, the host literally loses his mind, hearing such obvious idiocy. Watch the man’s head blow up:

Yes, John Bolton is a murderous monster. But still, that was pretty impressive. Notice the beat red face on the host? How dare someone question Trump’s greatness!!
