‘These Gangsters are on Notice’: Trump Adviser Melts Down After Being Named in Affidavit
Kash Patel is very aggrieved.
He is mad that his name was left unredacted by the FBI. We are not sure why. It is not like there is a single Democrat or Independent that doesn’t know that Patel was at the Defense Department at the end of the Trump administration. Everyone knows he a fierce Trump loyalist, and it wasn’t any sort of secret that Kash Patel was telling people that Trump declassified these documents. Every bit of the above was public knowledge, and thus there was no reason to redact it.
Moreover, Patel is apparently confused about who might get violent over what. Liberals will get violent – if absolutely necessary – if the MAGA movement tries to take the country by force. But there is no indication at all that liberals follow the MAGA playbook by firing at the FBI offices (or something akin to it) as political violence. Patel isn’t in danger because the affidavit didn’t set out anything that he didn’t do in public.
But part of being a MAGA is being a victim, and thus, Patel is obviously victimized. The other part of being a MAGA is being dangerous and inviting violent responses (See Trump today asking the “good” FBI agents to turn on the others and take Trump’s side, this is how Trump sees the world, an interagency insurgency is fine with that ex-president so long as he benefits). Patel put the FBI “On Notice” and is now the dangerous one:

We literally have no idea what it’s like to live in a world where the conspiracy flows through the judge on “Zuckerberg’s WhatsApp.” And so what is he “notifying” these “gangsters” of? That they are in real danger?
They know that.
