We needed something like this.

After hearing the Republican reaction yesterday, the immediate threats, and the chatter on Right Wing social media, we needed this. Trevor Noah has a way of putting things in perspective while also finding humor in it. Trump is under investigation for crimes in Florida, Georgia, Washington DC, and Trump just took the Fifth Amendment to nearly all questions posed to him in a New York Attorney General civil suit. Four states! Noah wonders how Trump even finds the time to commit all these crimes, “He is like the Steve Harvey of crime. He’s everywhere.”

Noah said the raid is absolutely unprecedented in American history, but – like the many crimes listed above, Noah says that “Donald Trump has never happened in American history.” He also found it funny that of all the things Trump has done, he might get busted for taking “work home with him.” We can be sure Trump was not working on those files. We can be fairly sure that Trump gave the regular 15 boxes back and kept the critical national security stuff.

Trump wondered how yesterday was different than Watergate. Noah pointed out that they came with a warrant signed by a federal judge and the raid was carried out by an agency led by a man that ….Trump appointed.

Noah also mocked Eric saying that Trump had a lot of keepsakes, stuff that meant a lot to him, like notes from Eric saying how proud he was of his dad. Noah said, “Oh, Eric. Is that what dad told you?” We can be pretty sure the FBI didn’t risk its reputation to get keepsakes.

Noah even had time to guess how they got into the safe. Perhaps they simply guessed the combination, “6969.”

And there is so much more. It is needed and highly recommended. Because we haven’t even gotten into what Noah did to the GOP that spent the evening defending Trump without even knowing what the FBI found.
