Trump Just Angrily Announced the FBI Seized His Passports – Multiple Passports – and People Have Questions

Well, well, well, isn’t this interesting!

Donald Trump is now claiming that his passports were “stolen” in the FBI raid at Mar-a-Lago last week, which means he could not leave the country if he wanted to. He also called it an “assault on a political opponent.”

“Wow! In the raid by the FBI of Mar-a-Lago, they stole my three Passports (one expired), along with everything else. This is an assault on a political opponent at a level never seen before in our Country. Third World!” he wrote on his Truth Social account.

Trump said he had three passports, with one being expired. Now, usually people only have one passport, and having multiple passports would obviously be incredibly suspicious. However, Trump likely has a regular blue passport issued to U.S. citizens and a red “diplomatic” passport issued for official government travel. He would have received a diplomatic passport when he was president. The red diplomatic passport is valid for 5 years, so that passport is now likely expired, as he was probably issued the passport when he was president-elect, which means it would’ve expired at the end of 2021 or early 2022. So it is unclear which expired passport Trump is referring to.

That said, without a legal passport, Trump would not be able to travel outside of the country. It’s currently unclear if the passports were seized and whether it was done because Trump is considered a flight risk.

But people on Twitter were shocked, and they had a lot of questions:

And of course, a little humor from our favorite comedian and Trump insider Noel Casler:
